All coaches and team representatives are responsible for
keeping the following papers with them and getting copies
for themselves. To do so, download each page and it will
open in either Word, Excel or PDF document.

GENERAL
RULES |
1. Minimum age of players is 18 on day of game,
unless you have special permission from R.A.W. If
questioned about age, the player must show one of
the following proofs: driver’s license, Medicare
card, S.I.N. card or passport. NO PROOF NO PLAY!
2. Teams will play maximum 7 aside, one of which must
be designated and dressed as a goalkeeper.
3. The number of players required to start a game
is 5 per team. If the team does not have 5 players
dressed and ready to play the clock starts and if
after the team still does not have the required minimum
of 5 players the team will be down 1-0, after 10 mins.
2-0 and if still unable to play after 15 mins. The
team will forfeit at 5-0 and be subject to a 25$ fine.
A second offence in this nature will bring a 50$ fine
and a third a 100$ fine and possible expulsion from
the league.
4. Point system:3pts.=win, 1pts.=tie, 0pts.=loss
5. Home team is listed first on schedule and must
change shirts if colors clash with opponents’
LISTED colors. Away teams MUST use visitor’s
bench.
6. No new players or transfers after Jan.31st, 2008.
7. Players may play with only one team, but may transfer
if “in good standing” with original team,
and must miss the following game after transfer approval
by the league.
8. A player who owes fees or uniform to a team is
not considered “in good standing” and
is prohibited from playing on any other team in this
league. Coaches must communicate with each other concerning
transfers.
9. A player must PLAY in at least 3 games to be eligible
for playoffs.
10. Should a team be expelled or withdraw from the
league, its fees will not be refunded. If the team
has not played an equal number of games against each
opponent, its record shall be completely expunged.
If however, it has played each opponent an equal number
of times, only the games after that will be expunged.
11. THE LEAGUE COORDINATOR WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE
FOR ANY FUNDS NOT RETURNED BY SOCCERPLEX CATALOGNA,
IN THE EVENT OF FAILURE OF THAT BUSINESS.
12. If at the end of the season, the top teams are
tied on points, a playoff will decide the winner.
A tie for any other position will be decided as follows:a)
Goal Ratio: ie.: goals against divided by goals for;b)
Record against each other;c) Most goals for.
13. The 2 up 2 down promotion and relegation system
will apply. |

ON
THE FIELD RULES |
A) With the exception of the goalkeeper, no player
may wear long pants.
B) Re Equipment: soccerplexe forbids the wearing of
6 studs, molded or screw-in multi LONG studs and any
shoes with metal sole. Molded angular nipple soles
are acceptable. Team captains are responsible to monitor
this. Shin pads are mandatory.
C) All metal parts or bolts(hard plastic too) MUST
be covered with a foam or sponge like substance and
then wrapped. To ensure the safety of all players
in the R.A.W league all of our referees have been
advised to strictly adhere to these conditions and
NO EXCEPTIONS will be tolerated. Anyone who does not
comply with these rules will be advised to leave the
playing field immediately and should any resistance
by a player to comply will lead to game suspensions.
D) Home team will take the opening kick off from it’s
bench end of the field, and ball may be played forward
or backward from any center-field kick-off.
E) If a player should intentionally play the ball
back to the keeper by foot (below the knee), the keeper
must not play the ball by hand. Should this infraction
occur inside the penalty area, a direct free kick
shall be taken from the penalty spot. As this is not
an actual penalty kick, a defending wall is allowed.
F) A player receiving a SECOND YELLOW card shall be
assessed a RED card and ejected for the remainder
of the game.
G) A player receiving a DIRECT RED card shall likewise
be ejected from the remainder of the game.
H) All ejected players MUST leave the playing field
and bench area.
I) Suspended players (must be indicated as such on
a game sheet) are not allowed at the bench during
a game.
J) Referees may assess a cooling off period to any
player, WITHOUT giving a yellow card. The player may
be replaced. Only 1 cooler per player allowed.
K) A player on the ground may not play the ball if
an opponent is within playing distance of the ball.
L) Slide TACKLING may be penalized by a yellow card.
If inside the penalty area, a penalty kick shall be
awarded.
M) N.B. NO REBOUND ON PENALTY SHOT!
N) An intentional “LAST MAN” foul tackle
or handball is a red card offence.
O) Goalkeepers may score by throwing the ball into
the opponents net.
P) All kicks are DIRECT, including goal kicks and
center kick-offs.
Q) If the ball hits the ceiling, the kick shall be
taken from a spot directly below where the ball first
touched. EXCEPTIONS: over the penalty area shall be
a corner kick.
R) Any player smelling of alcohol will be dismissed
from the game and may be replaced.
S) Should a team fall behind by 10 goals a “Mercy
Rule” shall be applied, and the game is terminated.
T) A team defaulting a game will be excluded from
the “Most Disciplined Team” trophy. |
